Tickets are on sale at the Open Doors Theatre from Tue–Fri, 11am–2 pm during the season, and one hour before the performance. The entrance to the theatre is at Cygnaeuksenkatu 4. Tickets can also be booked by phone +358 9 4342 510 during the ticket office’s opening hours.
Ticket prices: standard ticket/senior/student. Group discounts of 2 € on standard ticket price (groups of over 20). Reserved tickets must be collected 2 weeks, group bookings 4 weeks before the performance. There is no service charge for ticket sales at the theatre’s ticket office. Tickets for the Open Doors Theatre can be paid in cash/by invoice/by debit or credit card, with Lippupiste gift vouchers or Kulttuuriseteli and Virikeseteli vouchers.
In addition to tickets, programmes, books and CDs relating to the plays are sold, as well as the theatre’s gift vouchers for a sum chosen by the buyer.
The Open Doors Theatre’s seating is on two sides of the stage and is gently inclined. The seats are numbered. There are 107 seats and one place for a wheelchair, which should be reserved beforehand. There is barrier-free access via the courtyard.
The Open Doors Theatre is located on the corner of Museokatu and Cygnaeuksenkatu streets in Töölö. There is only street side parking in the area. The theatre does not have its own parking spaces. Most public transport means will bring you close to the theatre: by Metro: get off at Kamppi, by tram and bus, get off at Mannerheimintie (National Museum of Finland) or Runeberginkatu (Apollonkatu).
The performances usually start on weekdays at 7 pm and on Saturdays at 4 pm. The performances start punctually on the hour. Those arriving late will be allowed to take their seats during the interval. The ticket office and the bar open one hour before the performance.
Lippupiste Oy
Open Doors Theatre tickets are sold on Lippupiste’s national system. Tickets can be purchased and reserved tickets collected at all Lippupiste sales outlets and R-Kiosks. Tickets cannot be reserved at Lippupiste’s sales outlets. Sales outlets charge a service charge per ticket (from 2.50 €).
Tickets can also be reserved and purchased against invoice and by credit card by calling Lippupiste’s service number +358 600 900 900 (1.76 €/min + local call charge), every day from 7 am–10 pm. A service charge (from 1 € per ticket) is added to the ticket price and a delivery charge per order (from 2.50 €).
Tickets bought from Lippupiste’s web shop can be paid by online bank debit or by credit card. The tickets can be printed out or mailed to your home. A service charge is added per ticket price (from 1 €) and a delivery charge per order (from 2.50 €).
