Haemme esitysehdotuksia vuoden 2027 yhteistuotannoksi. TAO on uutena aluevaltauksenaan kiinnostunut toimimaan myös yhteistuotantotahona taiteellisesti kunnianhimoisille teoksille, jotka jakavat ohjelmistolinjauksemme ja arvopohjamme. Yhteistuotantotahoksi soveltuu teatteri, ryhmä tai tuotanto, jolla on jo omarahoitusosuutta, mutta joka tarvitsee tilaa, tuotantotukea ja tuotantokoneistoa toteutuakseen. Teatteri Avoimet Ovet toimii vuoden 2026 alusta Kansallisteatterin Omapohjassa.

Merkitse viestin otsikkoon ja itse hakemukseen selkästi, haetteko  yhteistuotannoksi vai vierailuohjelmistoon. Hakemuksen tulee sisältää:

  1. työsuunnitelma josta käy ilmi MIKSI esitys täytyy nyt tehdä ja MITEN se liittyy Teatteri Avoimien Ovien linjaukseen
  2. työryhmätiedot
  3. alustava tulo-menoarvio, josta käy ilmi jo olemassa oleva rahoitus ja rahoitussuunnitelma sekä kaikkien rahoittajatahojen omavastuuosuudet
  4. inspiskuvia esityksen maailmasta (vapaaehtoinen)

Tuotantokäytännöt YHTEISTUOTANNOILLE

TAO tarjoaa yhteistuotannoiksi valituille teoksille/teattereille/työryhmille:

  • Harjoitus- ja esitystila (esitysten määrä ja harjoitusten kesto tilassa sovitaan tapauskohtaisesti. Esityksiä keskimäärin 15–25 ja harjoitusaika esitystilassa n. neljä viikkoa. Tekniikka ja tekninen tuki + ajaja (ei suunnittelua).
  • Markkinointi ja viestintä (TAO:n omien kanavien kautta mm. osana virallista kausiohjelmaa, julisteiden ja flyereiden painatus, someviestintä ja -mainonta, valtakunnallisten kalenteritietojen päivitys, kutsut & tiedotteet).
  • Lipunmyyntipalvelu
  • Lämpiön palvelut esityksiin (lipunmyyjä/baarityöntekijä)
  • TAO:n henkilökunnan tuki tuotannon taiteellisessa ja käytännön toteuttamisessa.
  • TAO tarjoaa 20% – 50% rahallisen tuotantotuen riippuen yhteistuotantotahon kokonaisbudjetista ja esityskauden suunnitellusta pituudesta. TAO:ssa tapahtuvan esityskauden lipputulot kuuluvat TAO:lle. Sopimuskauden rauettua teoksen esitysoikeudet jäävät työryhmälle.

Teatteri Avoimet Ovet edellyttää yhteistuotannoksi valituilta työryhmiltä:

  • Ammattitaitoa toteuttaa teos sovitusti, sovitussa aikataulussa, budjetissa ja sovittujen käytäntöjen mukaisesti. Oma tuottaja tai rahoitusvastaava katsotaan eduksi.
  • Teatteri Avoimet Ovien rahallinen tuotantotuki voi kattaa vain osan kokonaisbudjetista. Muun tarvittavan rahoituksen hankkiminen tuotannolle on yhteistuotantotahon vastuulla (apurahat yms.) Työehtosopimusten noudattaminen palkkauksessa ja työajoissa katsotaan eduksi.
  • Yhteistuotantotaho sitoutuu Teatteri Avoimien Ovien tasa-arvo- ja yhdenvertaisuussuunnitelmaan ja turvallisemman tilan periaatteisiin.
  • Mikäli työryhmä tarvitsee yllä mainittua enemmän harjoitusaikaa, on harjoitustilan hankkiminen / vuokraaminen työryhmän vastuulla.
  • Yhteistuotantotaho on osavastuussa teoksen markkinoinnista (oma tiedottaja tai työryhmän sisäinen tiedotusvastaava katsotaan eduksi).
  • Yhteistuotantotahon tulee osallistua tuotanto- ja markkinointipalavereihin ja toimittaa teatterin viestintää varten markkinointimateriaaleja esim. markkinointitekstejä yms. sisältöä. Teatteri käyttää omaa graafikkoa ja valokuvaajaa taatakseen TAO:n oman viestinnällisen ilmeen painotuotteissa.
  • Eduksi katsotaan. jos tuotannolle saadaan esityskausi(a) myös Helsingin ulkopuolella.

Theatre Avoimet Ovet is looking for co-productions for 2027 programme

The open call for co-productions ends on: 28 February 2026

We are looking for proposals for co-productions in 2027. Suitable co-production partners include theatres or groups that already have some financing but need a venue, funding and infrastructure.

From the beginning of 2026, Theatre Avoimet Ovet operates in the address Itäinen Teatterikuja 3 C, 00100 Helsinki.

Please clearly state in both the subject line of the email and in the application itself whether you are applying for a co-production or for the guest performance programme. The application must include:

  • A work plan outlining why the performance needs to be made now and how it relates to the artistic direction of Theatre Avoimet Ovet
  • Information about the working group
  • A preliminary budget indicating existing funding and how the funding would be divided between all partners
  • Inspirational images of the world of the performance (optional)

Production Practices for CO-PRODUCTIONS

The theatre offers the selected theatres / working groups the following as part of a co-production:

  • Rehearsal and performance space (the number of performances and the duration of rehearsals in the venue are agreed separately: on average 15–25 performances / rehearsal period at the theatre approx. four weeks)
  • Technical equipment and technical support, including a stage technician/operator
  • Marketing and communications, via the theatre’s platforms, including inclusion in the official season programme, posters and flyers, social media, updates on event calendars, and invitations & press releases
  • Ticket sales, bar services
  • Support from the theatre’s staff in the artistic and practical realisation of the production

TAO provides financial production support of 20–50%, depending on the total budget of the co-production partner and the planned number of performances. Ticket income from the Teatteri Avoimet Ovet performances belong to the theatre. After the contract period ends, the performance rights for the work remain with the working group.

Our requirements for co-production partners:

  • Professional competence to realise the work as agreed, within the agreed schedule and budget, and in accordance with agreed practices. Having an in-house producer or a person responsible for funding is considered an advantage.
  • TAO’s financial production support percentage is calculated only for a portion of the total budget. Securing the remaining necessary funding for the production (e.g. grants) is the responsibility of the co-production partner. Compliance with collective labour agreements in salaries and working hours is considered an advantage.
  • The co-production partner commits to Theatre Avoimet Ovet’s equality and non-discrimination plan and to the principles of a safer space.
  • If the working group requires more rehearsal time than outlined above, securing and/or renting additional rehearsal space is the responsibility of the working group.
  • The co-production partner shares responsibility for marketing the production (having an in-house publicist or a communications contact within the working group is considered an advantage).
  • The co-production partner is required to participate in production and marketing meetings and to provide marketing materials. The theatre uses its own graphic designer and photographer.
  • It is considered an advantage if the production also gets performances outside Helsinki.
